The cheapest, the base iPad, jumped to 128GB storage this year and got the A16 chip, so it stopped feeling like the weak option. The Air 11 inch with M3 is built for people running multiple apps at once, notes, a browser, a video lecture, all open together without stuttering. The mini stays tiny and light, which honestly makes more sense for commuting students than I first thought. I'm leaning toward the Air myself.
